What's 365specialdays.com about?
365specialdays.com is a conceptual online and offline art project. If one day of the year is a special day for you, let me know and I will create a drawing of what made that day so special for you. You will then get the drawing by postal mail, and I will upload the drawing to this website (including your story - anonymously if you prefer). Over time, this website will be a collection of special days all over the world, and remind us just how special each and every day can be.
What will my drawing look like?
To get an idea of my style of drawing, go to the days & stories page where you can look at the drawings made so far. Of course, I cannot exactly tell you what your drawing will look like, but it will be in the same style as the other drawings.
What size will the drawing be?
The size of a drawing is 9 x 12 inches = 23 x 31 cm.

My name is Fernando Luis Lara. I'm a brazilian artist, and I currently live and work in Michigan, USA.
How much does a drawing cost?
Each of the 365 days costs USD 182.50 (because 182.50 is excactly half of 365).
How much does shipping cost?
These are the approximate shipping costs, depending on your location:
- US: USD 15.00
- Europe: USD 20.00
- Others: USD 30.00
On request, I can also send the drawing with DHL. DHL prices vary with destination and shipping type. In that case, I would let you know about the DHL fees before I'd ship it.
My special day has already been drawn - do you draw the same day multiple times?
No. 365specialdays.com is about each day of the year, and about each day being unique. For that reason, there will be only 365 drawings altogether.
What if I don't like the drawing - can I get a refund?
This is a conceptual on demand art project, where your drawing will be absolutely personal in the sense that it reflects your story, and your day will not be for sale anymore once you've paid for your order. I therefore cannot make any refunds should you not like your personal drawing. However, I am very confident that this is not going to happen. Before you order, please take a look at the previous drawings on the page days & stories to get an idea of my drawing style.
Can my story contain links and images?
Your story should be purely textual. Links are fine if they are essential for the story. Images, however, should not be included (but let me know if you have a good reason).

In the true spirit of web based collaboration, I'm very happy to report that Sala of onethousandpaintings.com has joined me in this project and is reponsible for the things "behind the scene", i.e. technical issues, promotional issues etc. so that I can fully concentrate on the drawings.
