"It sometimes takes awhile for us to figure out what God is trying to tell us. I first met my wife in college. It was a brief introduction, a friend of a friend type, but I still clearly remember meeting her. We met a second time several years later at a college football game hundreds of miles from our homes. This time we spoke briefly, but nothing came of it. Months later we met again while I was visiting my brothers at college. This time we started emailing each other. When we finally started dating, I knew very quickly that this was the woman I would spend my life with. I felt a peace I had never felt before. I proposed to her in an airport while waiting for a flight. I had hoped to ask her during the trip, but the pressure of the ring in my pocket wouldn't let me wait. I surprised her (and myself) outside security and we spent the rest of the trip planning our life together. My wife and I were married April 10, 1999. Now, ten years and two children later, I see that God had a plan for us all along. He wouldn't give up on us and I won't either."
