He has been the best in the world, a world-record holder and Olympic gold-medalist, but he is incredibly humble. He sincerely tries to be a better person each day, and his love for learning and growing inspires me. He is a warm and supportive dad to our amazing daughter, Bayley.

I married Mel because I knew in a flash, while walking down a quiet side street in Manhattan, holding his hand, that my life would be better with him in it. I knew every day with him would bring happiness and challenges, love and growth, and that I could be exactly who I am, with him by my side.
