"On October 14th, 2008, our daughter Cindy Barnig will present her thesis at the Faculty of Medicine of the Louis Pasteur University in Strasbourg, France, to become a medical specialist in pneumology and allergology. Being interested in scientific research, Cindy is the co-author of several publications related to immunotherapy. She also enjoys music and started learning piano and cello when she was ten years old. During her medical training, Cindy performed as a cellist in a chamber ensemble of the university."
